Chris Micheal, an established Winnipeg-based Canadian recording artist, is known for being the dynamic vocalist filled with passion and emotion who performs acoustic and electric guitar, which you can find on all digital streaming platforms. 

Raised in a musical family, Chris Micheal became enamored with 90s grunge culture, which thoroughly influenced his dynamic musical approaches. Delving into the country music scene by playing events and festivals that encouraged the mixing of genres led Chis Micheal deep into the profound passion that country culture has to offer.

Playing guitar since he was fourteen led Chris Micheal to part-take in bands in his early twenties. The group started as a rock group where Chris Micheal acted as a vocalist; however, he later transitioned into a solo career down the country music lane. 

Having just wrapped up their highly anticipated debut EP, The Chris Michael Band has positioned themselves for a breakout fall season.

With their unique take on the country music genre, they’ve quickly established a niche from their artistic vision and effortless chemistry. With a slew of tours set for next year, this talented band’s trajectory has been set firmly skywards, with music videos in the works. Everything seems to be coming together, but where artists as talented as The Chris Michael Band are concerned, it’s about time.

The Chris Michael Band has one of those origin stories that just makes you feel good inside. Having all met in the Winnipeg music scene while playing for other groups, members Chris Michael, Ryan Weibe, Ken Schendel, Marlon Johnson, and Aaron Bacon became close after crossing paths numerous times in the local scene. After working on some projects and shows together, the band as we know it today was formed, united by shared artistic passion and vision. Excitingly, they keep improving, and we’re eagerly waiting to see what the future will hold.

He's also performed in a multitude of venues and cites, including Winnipeg's Burton Cummings Theatre, Manitoba's Howl at the Moon Festival, Fire and Water Festival, and more.

Chris Micheal is a 4 x Nominee for Manitoba Country Music Awards and 2 ISSA Songwriter Awards and recently received a Champions Award for his musical contributions and efforts towards Tj's Gift Foundation. Living by words like “Always be the best version of yourself you can be," it's without a doubt that any listener will feel inspired after listening to Chris Micheal's dynamic tunes.
